Dither Lab
Overview
Dither Lab is a browser-based design tool for making dithered visuals without leaving the canvas.I built it for image play, poster experiments, and quick graphic explorations where texture matters as much as the composition.The whole point was to make the dithering process feel immediate instead of technical.
Context
A lot of dithering workflows still feel like a chain of disconnected tools.You export from one place, preview in another, tweak settings blindly, and only then find out whether the texture actually works.I wanted a tool that keeps the process visual the whole way through.Fast preview, simple controls, and enough flexibility to go from subtle grain to loud retro treatment without breaking the flow.Dither Lab is that attempt: a compact design tool built to make experimentation feel playful again.
